Frederick Elementary School is a neighborhood charter school operated by the Baltimore Curriculum Project. We’re a different type of charter school. Other charter schools are lottery only. We serve our neighborhood zone first, then we go to a lottery.
Who Can Enroll?
Any Kindergarten through 5th grade child living or moving into the neighborhood zone may enroll at any time, without participating in a lottery.
If you live in this zone, call or email the school to enroll.
Not sure of your enrollment zone?
Non-zoned students
As a charter school, we also participate in City Schools lottery process. If you live outside the designated zone, you will need to apply through Baltimore City’s School Choice process.
If you are interested in attending Frederick Elementary, please complete the online interest form, and someone will reach out to you with the next steps.
Pre-Kindergarten
At Frederick Elementary School, our early learners are provided with a safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate environment. Additionally, we provide a quality educational experience.
To enroll in our PreK program, your child must be 4 years old prior to September 1. Priority is given to students who meet the age requirement and are considered low-income, homeless, or receive special education services. All Pre-K registration must be done online through Baltimore City Public Schools.
